Set the pot to saute and then add the onions. Fry until softened for around 3 minutes. Add the garlic powder and tomatoes and continue until they are broken up (around another 3 minutes.
Now add the carrots and potatoes. Stir everything together before adding the beef stock.
Season to taste and put the lid on the instant pot. Set on high pressure for 6 minutes and when the time is up, leave under pressure for another 6 minutes. now do a quick release and remove the lid.
Set the pot to saute and add the corned beef. Stir in and cook until the corned beef is heated through. This should take around 3 minutes.
